MOXIEDOX is your own search front end. It runs on this computer and asks outside indexes for results, then shows them in a Google-style layout. It is not affiliated with Google.
No search history, no accounts, no advertising. Two things are stored on your device: the theme you picked, and — if this site asks for a password — one cookie that keeps you signed in for 30 days. The only thing written to disk on the server is a daily count of searches, and the only thing leaving this machine is the words you search for, sent to the providers named under the tabs. Web results and AI Mode run on an Exa key. Images, News and the info cards work with no key at all; adding a Brave or Google key upgrades the images. Paste keys in moxiedox.env and restart. The results line under the tabs tells you which provider answered.
Double-click Start MOXIEDOX.bat to start it by hand, or SETUP AUTOSTART.bat once to have it come up with Windows. STOP MOXIEDOX.bat shuts it down.
